Under
provisions of Rajasthan Co-operative Society 1965 bank was
incorporated on September 5, 1972 in the name of Sirohi District Commercial Co-operative Bank Ltd, with
its registered office in Sirohi. Our operations commenced
in October 1972, with 52 members & an initial capital of Rs.
51,700. License was given by Reserve Bank Of India, appraising bank's progress since the bank fulfilled all fixed standards set by the RBI.
Since them we
have come a long way in expanding our network and reach, to
serve both rural and urban areas. The extension of the
operations beyond the boundaries of Sirohi has led to the
change in name to Madhav Nagrik Sahakari Bank ltd. on July
27, 1998 when bank was operating in six districts of
Rajasthan. Bank received the status of a multistate bank
after merging two Gujarat based banks namely Sri Deesa Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd
and Surendranagar Mercantile Co-operative bank in year 2009
and changed its name to Adarsh Co-operative bank ltd.
Initially bank has computerized head office and all branches in 1993 to keep pace with the changing times & to walk
parallel with changing technology. Today, all the 46 branches
are on core banking and is maintaining 12 ATM's to keep
pace up with the all leading banks.
